Welcome to Mid-Continent's On-Line Archives. These pages serve as a communication center for Mid-Continent's Archives and Library and also a portal to Digital Collectionsboth Mid-Continent and privateavailable on-line through our server.
MISSION STATEMENT: The specific purpose of the Archives and Library is to collect, manage, and preserve Mid-Continent's collection, as well as provide supervised public access to its collections for education, publication, and research purposes.
ARCHIVES AND LIBRARY ACCESS: At this time, Mid-Continent is without a Collection Manager. This, combined with numerous relocations of the archives material that occured after the emergency evacuation of materials from rising flood waters in 2008 have left the archives in need of throughough reorganization and a new perminent storage space before requests can once again be taken. In the meantime, you may still email the Collection Manager email address, which is now being forward to the Webmaster. However, most archive requests will not be able to be fulfilled at this time.
