Mid-Continent's seven-mile, 50-minute round-trip ride on a former branch line of the Chicago & North Western Railroad helps ring in the festive Christmas season with holiday decorations, and a special visit from Jolly St. Nick himself. Children will receive candy and a gift from Santa. All cars are heated by steam heat or coal-fired stoves.
PLEASE NOTE: Mid-Continent's operable steam locomotives are currently out of service, receiving upgrades. All trains will be operated with diesel locomotives. We apologize for any inconvenience.
