This will be the 33rd year for Snow TrainTM, a unique and unforgettable train ride experience. Enjoy Mid-Continent's seven-mile, 50-minute round-trip ride on a former branch line of the Chicago & North Western Railroad, through a Winter Wonderland at the foot of the Baraboo Hills. All cars are heated by steam heat or coal-fired stoves.

First Class: Sat. & Sun. only: 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm

PLEASE NOTE: Mid-Continent's operable steam locomotives are currently out of service, receiving upgrades. All trains will be operated with diesel locomotives. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Enjoy being waited on by uniformed friendly staff. Snacks and beverages are served in the Soo Line 2017, a diner-lounge car built in 1914, and in the C&NW 440, a business car built in 1929.
