Volunteering
Note: You may no longer receive a confirmation email for your volunteer hours due to a technical issue causing the confirmation emails to be tagged as spam and rejected by volunteers’ email service providers. We are working to resolve this issue. You can still use this form to submit volunteer hours to the MCRM office.
This Volunteer Waiver Acknowledgment Form is for first-time volunteers to complete prior to volunteering on Mid-Continent Railway Museum property.
Starting on April 2, 2025, Mid-Continent Railway Museum volunteers can reserve a bunk for overnight accommodations in the Chicago Rock Island & Pacific #1094 car. The car is the property of Rail Car Enterprises, LLC.
Click the button to learn more, sign a lease agreement, pay for and reserve your bunk. Bunks can be reserved up to 12 days in advance and cost $15 per night.
Membership Renewal
The 2025 membership renewal deadline was April 1st. Individuals that missed the deadline can still be reinstated to their previous membership class and membership join date by paying any dues in arrears (up to 24 months later) plus pay one year’s dues in advance. If you wish to be reinstated, please contact the Mid-Continent administrative office.
Alternatively, individuals may join again as a new associate member for $50. Rejoining as a new member does not retain previous membership class upgrades or progress toward upgrade eligibility.
